Liverpool manager Arne Slot has headed for Ibiza for a well-deserved break after guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title.
It has been a hectic few months for the Dutchman, who replaced the larger-than-life Jurgen Klopp in the summer.
After inheriting a squad that finished third in the Premier League in the previous season, Slot only spent £12.5m to buy Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
And with that team, the 47-year-old did the unlikely, winning the Premier League in his first season.
In so doing, he became the fifth manager to have won the Premier League title in his first season in England.
Slot also joined Kloop as one of the two Liverpool managers to have won the Premier League title.
Since winning the title two weeks ago, the Reds have played Chelsea and Arsenal, failing to win any of those, understandably, due to the fact that nothing is on the line.
Having given their all since the season began and barely taken their foot off the gas, it is understandable that the Reds are relaxed after getting No.
20 over the line.
The title celebration is expected to be completed in the coming days when Liverpool play their last game of the season at Anfield, where they will lift the trophy?
After that a title parade is planned, before the Reds jet off for holiday.
But before any of those, Slot and perhaps some of the Liverpool players are already enjoying a holiday break.
On Monday, shortly after his side’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Slot was pictured partying in the Spanish island of Ibiza.
In a video that made the rounds on social media on Monday, the Dutchman was seen enjoying himself with some friends.
With Liverpool’s next game coming at the weekend, Slot is well within his right to take a time off.
